High School: A 2009 graduate of Rio Americano HS in Sacramento…garnered honors on both sides of the ball as a senior…was a first team all-Sac-Joaquin Section selection as an offensive lineman…named second team all-metro by the Sacramento Bee as a defensive lineman…named the Capital Athletic League co-Lineman of the Year in 2008…helped pave the way for a rushing attack which averaged 229.5 yards per game and scored 31 rushing touchdowns…team finished the year 8-3 overall and advanced to the Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs…defensively, he had 22 total tackles as a senior…earned all-Capital Athletic League honors as a junior and senior.
