Prior to Sacramento State: Played two seasons at Diablo Valley JC…earned first-team JC All-American honors after tallying 1,150 yards on 65 receptions with 18 TDs as a sophomore…Diablo Valley’s passing attack ranked No. 2 in the state of California… also had two kickoff returns for scores and collected first-team all-Northern California Conference honors…as a freshman, he garnered all-conference accolades after snaring 38 receptions for 480 yards and six TDs…originally signed with Utah State and spent the spring of 2009 with the Aggies.

High School: A 2007 graduate of De La Salle HS in Concord, Calif…earned second team all-East Bay accolades and all-metro honors…had 47 receptions for 849 yards and four touchdowns as a senior…also rushed for 74 yards on just six attempts…defensively, he tallied 50 tackles and six interceptions as a safety…team was 13-1 during his senior season and ended the year ranked third in the state and 19th nationally.
