Prior to Sacramento State: Spent his first two collegiate seasons at Western Washington where he was an all-Great Northwest Athletic Conference second team selection in 2008...as a sophomore, he ranked second on the team with 76 total tackles and was named the Vikings’ Defensive Player of the Year...he also had four interceptions, was credited with four pass breakups, recovered one fumble and forced a fumble...as a freshman, Schrader recorded 24 tackles and an interception in six games...redshirted in 2006...despite transferring from Div. II, he will be immediately eligible for the Hornets due to the fact that Western Washington discontinued its football program in January.
High School: A 2006 graduate of Skyline HS in Sammamish, Wash...was a first team all-area selection by the King County Journal...earned second team all-Kingco 4A League honors as a wide receiver, safety and punter...caught 46 passes for 717 yards and 10 touchdowns...also credited for 77 tackles and seven interceptions...team posted a 14-0 record and won the Class 4A state title...had six interceptions as a junior on a team which reached the state championship game...also competed in three years of baseball and wrestling.
