2008 Season: Sat out the season as a redshirt.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Casa Grande HS in Petaluma, Calif...played tight end and defensive end for the Gauchos...earned first team all-Sonoma County League honors at both positions...tallied 73 tackles as a senior, including 15 sacks...recorded at least three tackles in all 12 games...had nine stops against Sacred Heart Cathedral for his season high...caught five passes for 35 yards and a TD as a tight end.
