2008 Season: Began the year as a safety before moving to quarterback late in the year…came on in relief at Northern Arizona and completed his only pass attempt of the season for a 9-yard gain.

Prior to Sacramento State: A two-year starter at Diablo Valley JC in Pleasant Hill, Calif…as a sophomore, he played in nine games at quarterback…completed 85 of 155 pass attempts for 1,447 yards and 17 touchdowns…ranked sixth in the state in yards per pass attempt…was also ninth in passer rating (156.5) and 11th in total offense per play (7.7)…carried the ball 48 times and scored two touchdowns on the ground.

High School: A 2006 graduate of Las Lomas HS in Walnut Creek, Calif…played three seasons of varsity football as a quarterback, receiver and safety…helped lead the team to a pair of North Coast Section titles during his first two years and a championship berth as a senior…during his final season, he threw for 2,200 yards and 19 touchdowns and also rushed for over 600 yards and four scores…was a two-time all-Diablo Football Athletic League selection…earned all-East Bay honors from the Contra Costa Times as a junior.
