2008 Season: Started 11 of 12 games at safety…ranked second on the team with 84 total tackles…also had 2.5 tackles-for-loss, 0.5 sacks, two interceptions, three pass breakups, forced one fumble and recovered another…had at least two stops in all 12 games…averaged 8.67 tackles over the final six games…was credited with 11 tackles against Montana State and had 10 vs. Weber State…his fourth-quarter interception in the end zone sealed the victory over UC Davis in the Causeway Classic…also had an interception at Colorado State.

2007 Season: Played in 10 games as a true freshman…was a reserve safety and also played on special teams…finished the season with 14 tackles…had a season high three stops at New Mexico…recorded two tackles against Fresno State, Northern Arizona, Montana and Idaho State.

High School: Graduated from Vacaville HS in 2007…competed in football and track all four years…as a senior, he was named all-Sac-Joaquin Section, all-Solano County and all-Monticello Empire League…also participated in the KCRA Holiday Classic All-Star Game…helped the team to a 13-1 overall record and a Sac-Joaquin Section Div. I title in 2007…played safety and wing back for the Bulldogs…finished his senior season with 388 rushing yards, 56 receiving yards, 68 passing yards and 116 tackles…his tackle total included 78 solo stops…also had six interceptions and scored six touchdowns…had at least three tackles in all 14 games…recorded eight or more tackles in eight games…biggest output came against Laguna Creek where he had 18 stops…against Vintage, he rushed for two scores, threw for one and had 11 tackles and an interception…played at Vacaville with current Hornets Zack Nash and Johnny Feaster.

Personal: Born 8-7-89…majoring in kinesiology…would like to teach and coach at the high school level following graduation…parents are Tom and Cindy Buck.
