2008 Season: Started 11 games at nose tackle and played in all 12 contests…his lone non-start came against Portland State when the team used a 3-4 front…ended the year with 17 total tackles…highest output came against Montana where he had four stops…had three tackles against Southern Oregon…was credited with a tackle-for-loss at Northern Arizona…helped the Hornets to a 15-13 win at Eastern Washington where he blocked a field goal attempt.
2007 Season: Played in 10 of the team’s 11 games as a defensive tackle…ended the year with 18 total tackles…recorded a career-high four tackles against Weber State and Northern Colorado…was credited with a half-tackle-for-loss against both Northern Arizona and Weber State…forced a fumble and recovered the loose ball at Fresno State…also forced a fumble at Northern Colorado.
2006 Season: Made an immediate impact during his first season…played in eight games at nose tackle…finished the year with 10 total tackles…had a solo stop at Montana and added two assists for his season high of three…had two tackles against Montana State and against Northern Colorado.
High School: Graduated from Del Oro HS in Loomis, Calif., in 2006…was the 2005 Sacramento Bee Defensive Player of the Year…named all-Sac-Joaquin Section, all-metro and all-Sierra Foothill League as both a junior and senior…earned first team all-Northern California in 2005…was third team all-state that same season…helped Del Oro to a 13-0 record and a Sac-Joaquin Section Div. II title…tallied 51 tackles during the year…had at least two tackles in every game…had seven stops against both St. Mary’s (Stockton) and Burbank…had six tackles against Oak Ridge, Woodland and Christian Brothers.
