High School: Graduated from nearby Del Campo HS in 2008…was the Capital Athletic League Lineman of the Year in 2007…also named second team all-metro by the Sacramento Bee and played in the KCRA Holiday Classic All-Star Game that same season…played on the offensive line and at tight end for Del Campo…finished the season with nine receptions for 147 yards and three touchdowns…caught two touchdown passes against Foothill…team was 9-3 and advanced to the second round of the Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs his senior year…had 10 receptions and one touchdown as a junior…helped lead the team to the Sac-Joaquin Section Div. III title that same year.
