Prior to Sacramento State: Played at Colorado State in 2007…appeared in two games, at New Mexico and vs. Georgia Southern, and didn't catch a pass…redshirted in 2006.

High School: A 2006 graduate of Garces Memorial HS in Bakersfield, Calif…played wide receiver, strong safety, long snapper and returned punts...two-time letterwinner and first team all-league selection at wide receiver...Cal-Hi sports honors and offensive team MVP...Channel 29 Hitman of the Year, and special teams player of the year...selected to the section all-star game...had a 97-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and helped his quarterback break many school passing marks...also competed in track & field.
