Junior College: Attended perennial power City College of San Francisco for two years...was named first team all-NorCal League as a sophomore…started at guard all season…helped the team to an 11-1 overall record…the Rams also won the California state title with a win over Mt. SAC in 2007 and finished second to El Camino JC in 2006.

High School: Graduated from Amador Valley HS in Pleasanton, Calif., in 2004...named first team all-East Bay Athletic League, all-metro and all-Tri-Valley as a senior...led the Dons to a 12-1 overall record and a perfect 6-0 mark in East Bay Athletic League games as a senior...the team’s lone loss came against De La Salle in the section championship game…was a teammate of fellow newcomer Mark Lavey.
