Prior to Sacramento State: Spent one year (2006) at Mesa State in Grand Junction, Colo.

Junior College: Attended the College of San Mateo for two years…was a starting cornerback for the Bulldogs and helped lead the team to a 9-3 overall record in 2006…team also won the Bulldog Bowl that same year…scored five touchdowns on fumble recoveries during his two years.

High School: Graduated from San Lorenzo HS in 2004…named first team all-Hayward Area Athletic League selection as a defensive back as a senior…named second team all-East Bay that same season…finished his final year with 49 total tackles, seven interceptions and eight touchdowns.

Personal: Born 5-1-86…majoring in ethnic studies with a minor in kinesiology…parents are Rod Battle and Leslie Wilson.
