Was one of three Hornet linebackers to earn all-Big Sky honors last season…will join Brannon and Mulitalo as the likely starters during the regular season.
2007 Season: Named honorable mention all-Big Sky during his first year with the team…ranked fifth on the team with 66 total tackles…started all but one of the team’s 11 games…the only game he did not start came at Portland State where the Hornets used a different formation against the run-and-shoot attack…had at least one tackle in all 11 games and had five games with nine stops or more…recorded 12 tackles at Weber State for his season high and had 11 against Montana the following week…was tied for fourth on the team with 8.0 tackles-for-loss…was credited with two forced fumbles and recovered one as well.
Prior to Sacramento State: Played two seasons at Foothill JC in Los Altos, Calif…named second team All-America by JC Gridwire and was a first team Region 1 selection by the California Community College Football Coaches Association...also named first team all-Northern California Football Conference in 2006...led the team with 72 total tackles during the regular season despite missing one game...averaged 8.0 tackles per game...had 37 solo stops and 35 assisted tackles...also ended the year with two tackles-for-loss, three fumble recoveries and one forced fumble...was named the MVP of the Silicon Valley Bowl after he helped the Owls to a 24-0 shutout of Sierra College…as a freshman, he earned second team all-league honors.
High School: Graduated from Mills HS in Millbrae, Calif., in 2004…played football, baseball and basketball for the Vikings…was the Ocean League football MVP as a junior and senior…had 153 tackles and four interceptions as a senior.
