The lone player on the Hornet roster to start a game at quarterback for the Green and Gold…will compete with McLeod Bethel-Thompson and Duncan White for the starting job during the spring.

2007 Season: Was the team’s starting quarterback in all 11 games…ranks seventh in school single-season history with 162 completions…his 303 attempts are ranked sixth…finished the year with 1,826 passing yards and 10 touchdowns…threw for 396 yards and three touchdowns against Eastern Washington for his season high…his 396 passing yards rank second in school history…completed his first 13 passes against Portland State and ended that game 21-of-28…tossed a pair of touchdowns in the wins over Northern Arizona and Northern Colorado…also rushed for a score against NAU…threw four touchdown passes of 44-yards or longer.

2006 Season: Redshirted…attended Sacramento State but was not a member of the team.
High School: A 2006 graduate of Liberty HS in Brentwood, Calif…played three years of varsity football and baseball…named all-league each year in both sports…as a senior, he threw for over 1,789 yards and 17 touchdowns…also rushed for six additional scores…biggest passing game came against Foothill HS where he completed 22 passes for 418 yards and two touchdowns…was 27-of-43 for 334 against Carson HS…had at least one TD pass in all 10 games, including a season-high three against Washington HS.

Personal: Born 5-2-88...has yet to declare a major...parents are Kevin and Darla Smith.
