LAMONT WEBB NAMED NATIONAL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Senior Lamont Webb was named Special Teams

National Player of the Week by Teamlink/CFAA on Tuesday. Webb, who was

also named Big Sky Special Teams Player of the Week, became the first

Hornet player to return a kickoff for a touchdown since 1997 when he ran 90 yards for a score. The Tracy, Calif., native ended the night with five kick returns for 183 yardes (36.6 avg.) and one punt return for 23 yards. Webb also had five catches for 92 yards and another TD in Sacramento State''s 64-61 win over Cal State Northridge.
