SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The seventh-annual Gil Garcia Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, April 29, at Mather Golf Course. The event will include a four-person scramble and the $125 per person entry fee includes golf, cart rental, tee prizes, refreshments and lunch.The tournament, which is limited to 144 golfers, will have a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. with check-in beginning at 6:30 a.m. A barbecue and beverages will be provided immediately following the tournament. Proceeds for the event will benefit a graduate assistant for the Hornet football team as well as the UC Davis Prostrate Cancer Research Center.
The event is being sponsored by the Gil Garcia Memorial Find which is a 501.C3 organization. A portion of the entry fee is tax deductible.
