FOOTBALL TO PLAY GREEN-GOLD GAME ON SATURDAY

SACRAMENTO, Calif. --- The Sacramento State football team will play its annual Green-Gold game this Saturday, March 12, at Hornet Stadium. The game will feature approximately 75 plays in a controlled setting and is set to begin at 10 a.m.

The Hornet offense will feature returning quarterbacks Brad Tredway and Crosby Wehr as well as running back Ryan Mole. The defense also returns numerous all-Big Sky selections, including defensive end Jacob Houston, linebacker Matt Logue and defensive backs Brett SheltonBrent Webber and Brandon Smith.

The scrimmage is the second of three during spring practice for Sacramento State. The team opens the 2005 season on Sept. 3 at California.
