SAINTS ACTIVATE WAGNER FOR TODAY'S GAME AGAINST PHILADELPHIA
11/23/2003
PHILADELPHIA --- Former Sacramento State center Terence Wagner has been activated by the New Orleans Saints and will be on the team’s roster today for the game against the Philadelphia Eagles.Wagner started 44-consecutive games at center for the Hornets from 1998-2001. While with the team, he helped pave the way for running back Charles Roberts and quarterback Ricky Ray. Following his senior season, Wagner played in the Gridiron Classic and eventually singed with the New York Giants as a free agent. A broken hand in the first exhibition game of the season kept him out of last year and he was signed by New Orleans following the season. Wagner has been a member of the Saint’s practice squad from the start of the year. Today will mark his first on the active roster. ---30---
