Garrett Wolfe joined the Sacramento State football staff in April of 2019 as the Director of Football Operations.
Wolfe returned to Sacramento State after spending four seasons at Stanford in different positions, finishing as the Cardinal’s Assistant Director of Recruiting Operations. Wolfe began his tenure on The Farm in 2015, a season in which Stanford captured the Pac-12 title as well as a Rose Bowl Victory. During the remainder of his time, Stanford would claim another Pac-12 North Championship (2017), two Sun Bowl Championships (2016 & 2018) and a trip to the Alamo Bowl (2017).
Prior to working at Stanford, Wolfe served as the Director of Football Operations at Portland State in 2014. While with the Vikings, Wolfe was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program, including team travel, NFL liaison, football camps and clinics management, recruiting, and assisting the coaches with administration of the program.
Wolfe began his career in football with a pair of jobs in Sacramento. He worked as the Video Coordinator for the Sacramento Mountain Lions of the United Football League and was also the Assistant Director of Football Operations at Sacramento State from 2011-13.
He left Sacramento to work for ACS Athletics as a football liaison. ACS provides database support for athletics programs in compliance, recruiting, and team management.
A native of Folsom, California, Wolfe earned a degree in Sports Management from The University of Texas in 2010. He followed that with an internship with Octagon Football, a full-service NFL Agency. The Folsom High School graduate played for Hornet coaches Troy Taylor and Kris Richardson and was a teammate of current assistant coach Sam Cole.
