SACRAMENTO, Calif. - It came down to the final day of the regular season, but all six teams and their seeds are now set for WAC Baseball Tournament. Sacramento State will enter the tournament as the No. 3 seed in the six-team field.
Sacramento State (33-22, 18-9 WAC) came into Saturday with a chance at the No. 2 seed and a first round bye but needed a win by Utah Valley over UT Rio Grande Valley to make it possible. With Utah Valley's loss, UTRGV clinched the No. 2 seed while the Hornets were locked into the No. 3.
With all WAC games final on Saturday by 2 p.m. PT, the league announced the six-team field and tournament seeds this afternoon.
The Hornets will play on the first day of the tournament, Wednesday, May 25, at 6 p.m. PT when they take on the No. 6 seed, the Utah Valley Wolverines.

The 2019 WAC Tournament begins on Wednesday, May 22 at Hohokam Stadium in Mesa, Ariz. All games will be shown live on ESPN+ in the US. For viewers outside of the United States, games will stream live on the WAC Digital Network. All Hornets games will also air online on HornetSports.com/Radio.
The winner of the double-elimination WAC Tournament receives an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.
