BASEBALL SHAKES UP SCHEDULE, WILL PLAY FOUR HOME GAMES IN THREE DAYS STARTING SATURDAY

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Sacramento State baseball team has cancelled their four-game series against Washington State in Pullman due to weather (projected snow) and instead will host both Gonzaga and Wisconsin-Milwaukee this weekend at John Smith Field.

In an effort to not lose any games before the start of conference play, the Hornets coordinated with Gonzaga and Milwaukee to move their weekend series from Spokane to Sacramento. The Bulldogs-Panthers series, scheduled for Friday-Sunday in Spokane, was also likely to be cancelled due to weather.

Instead, the three teams will play a total of five games at John Smith Field starting Saturday night. The schedule is as follows:

Saturday, March 3

7:00 pm - Wisconsin-Milwaukee vs. Sacramento State

Sunday, March 4

11:00 am - Wisconsin-Milwaukee vs. Gonzaga
3:00 pm - Gonzaga vs. Sacramento State
7:00 pm - Wisconsin-Milwaukee vs. Sacramento State

Monday, March 5

12:00 pm - Gonzaga vs. Sacramento State

All games will take place at John Smith Field in Sacramento. Tickets for Saturday's and Monday's game will work as usual, while one Sunday ticket will allow the holder access to all three Sunday games.
