BASEBALL WELL REPRESENTED IN SUMMER WOOD BAT LEAGUES

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Thirteen current Sacramento State baseball players and two incoming Hornets that have signed National Letters of Intent are playing this summer in six wood bat leagues throughout the United States and in Canada.

The Hornets are most represented on the Humboldt Crabs with infielder Dan Deely and pitchers Austin Root and Grant Kukuk. Incoming outfielder/pitcher Blake Edmonson is also playing with the Crabs.

Bronson Grubbs, Devin Lehman, and Billy Rockefeller are in Missouri playing with the Chillicothe Mudcats. Brandon Hunley and Chris Lewis are playing with the Bethesda Big Train in Maryland while Gunner Pollman and incoming third baseman Kody Reynolds are in Oregon on the Klamath Falls Gems. Sophomore Chad Perry is pitching with the Marysville Gold Sox in the Horizon Air Summer Series. 

North of the border in British Columbia, Vinny Esposito and Josh Egan are with the Kelowna Falcons while PJ Floyd is on the Victoria HarbourCats. Kelowna, Victoria, and Klamath Falls are all in the West Coast League as the Hornets on those teams will be facing each other.
