TEN BASEBALL PLAYERS COMPETING IN SUMMER LEAGUES

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - A total of 10 returning Sacramento State baseball players are competing in wood bat leagues over the summer, playing as close as here in Sacramento to as far as Maryland and Canada.

Locally, outfielder Ryan Locke and pitcher Austin Ragsdale are playing for the Sacramento Heat, a team coached by former Hornet Trevor Paine and recent graduate David Del Grande. The Hornets also have two players with the Humboldt Crabs (Kyle Moses and Brandon Hunley) and two with the Victoria Harbour Cats (Nathan Lukes and Gunner Pollman).
