GAME TWO -
Sacramento State was down just one run until Dartmouth blew open the game with a four-run seventh and the Hornets lost the second game of the doubleheader, 6-1.

After the Hornets scored a single run in the bottom of the sixth to cut the Big Green's lead in half, Dartmouth erupted in the seventh with four runs on five hits. Joe Sclafani led off with a single and moved to second on a wild pitch to start the inning and that's when the Big Green started to rack up the doubles. A double by Thomas Roulis scored Sclafani and Roulis came around on a double by Chris O'Dowd. Ennis Coble doubled to drive in O'Dowd and David Turnbull hit the fourth double of the inning to score Coble.

Roulis finished with a game-high three RBIs and went 3-for-5 at the plate. Dartmouth starter Michael Johnson (1-0) earned his first win of the season after going 5.1 strong innings with one run allowed on six hits. Thomas Olson recorded a save after entering in the sixth with the Big Green clinging to a one-run lead. He surrendered just two hits in 3.2 innings.

Sacramento State's lone run came on an RBI single by Derrick Chung. Chung and David Del Grande each had two hits. Starting pitcher Ty Nichols (0-2) took the loss after giving up two runs on six hits in 4.2 innings with three strikeouts.
