PAIR OF BASEBALL GAMES AGAINST SAINT MARY'S RESCHEDULED FOR LATER IN THE SEASON

3/2/2010

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The midweek two-game baseball series between Sacramento State and Saint Mary's, originally scheduled for March 2-3, has seen both games rescheduled for later in the season, as announced on Tuesday by head coach John Smith.

The game scheduled to take place on Wednesday at Hornet Field in Sacramento will be the first to be made up, and will now take place on Tuesday, March 9 at 2 p.m on the campus of Sacramento State. Tuesday's scheduled game in Moraga will be made up at Saint Mary's on Wednesday March 24th at 2 p.m

Up to an inch and a half of rain is in the forecast for both Tuesday and Wednesday, with heavy downpours already starting in both locations early this morning. More rain is on the way this weekend, which has the potential to impact the Hornets Causeway Clash against UC Davis, scheduled to take place Friday-Sunday with two games in Sacramento sandwiched around a contest in Davis. Fans should continue to check www.hornetsports.com daily for updates on this weekend's contests.
