RAIN POSTPONES BASEBALL'S TUESDAY GAME AGAINST CAL

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Sacramento State baseball team's scheduled Tuesday contest against Cal has been postponed due to rain.
The Sacramento area is forecast to receive up to an inch of rain today, as a heavy cold front moves through the valley. Thunderstorms are also likely during the afternoon, making the risk to hold a game too great. There is no makeup date scheduled between the two teams as of yet. They are scheduled to meet one more time this season on May 12 in Berkeley.
The Hornets will return to action, weather permitting, this weekend with a pair of doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday against Utah Valley. First pitch of game one each day is scheduled for 11:30 a.m.
