AS A JUNIOR (2012)
Appeared in 17 games with four starts in his first season with the Hornets...started one game at second base and three more at designated hitter...hit .143 in 28 at-bats with five runs and two RBIs...went 1-for-1 with two runs scored at Fresno State on May 5 after entering as a pinch-runner.
PRIOR TO SACRAMENTO STATE
Played under head coach Doug Jumelet for two seasons at American River College...a second team all-Big 8 Conference selection in 2010...hit .333 in 120 at-bats in his sophomore season with five doubles, two home runs, 20 RBIs and four stolen bases...struck out just seven times in 142 total plate appearances...posted 12 multi-hit games.
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Christian Brothers HS in 2008 after playing varsity baseball for four seasons under head coach Terrell Lowrey...posted a 5.10 ERA in 35.2 innings pitched with 23 strikeouts in his senior season...at the plate, he hit .207 in just 29 at-bats.

Parents are Stephen and Barbara Meyer...major is criminal justice and hopes to become a firefighter or paramedic after graduation.
