AS A FRESHMAN (2012)
Appeared in 13 games while making one start in his first season with the Hornets...tallied a 5.40 ERA in 21.2 innings pitched with 11 walks and 13 strikeouts...allowed a run in just three of his 13 appearances...gave up just seven runs in 16.1 innings (3.91 ERA) over his last 10 appearances...tossed two scoreless innings against Fresno State in the Western Athletic Conference Tournament on May 25...recorded four straight scoreless appearances (5.1 innings) from March 9 to March 24...allowed six runs in his first career start on Feb. 28 at Pacific but posted a 3.31 ERA as a reliever in 12 appearances.
HIGH SCHOOL
Played baseball for four seasons under head coach Michael Burns at Trabuco Hills HS...posted a 1.22 ERA in a team-high 63.1 innings over 16 appearances as a senior with 48 strikeouts and just 10 walks...had a 4.23 ERA in 43 innings as a junior with 18 strikeouts...named first team all-Sea View League as a senior in 2011 and a second team selection following his junior season...helped lead the Mustangs to the Sea View League title in 2011 after tallying a 10-2 record as a starter and compiling two saves in relief...also played first base and third base at Trabuco Hills.
