Did not appear on the mound in his third season with the Hornets as he transitioned from pitcher to a first baseman...had one hit in five at-bats over three games...his one hit of the season came at San Francisco, when he was the DH and had three at-bats...tallied a RBI against New Mexico State.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2011)

Redshirted the season.

AS A FRESHMAN (2010)
Made 12 appearances, including two starts...struck out 14 while also walking 14 batters...pitched 19.2 innings with a 9.15 ERA...best outing was two innings against Cal on May 4 where he gave up just one hit while striking out two.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2009 graduate of Rocklin HS in Rocklin, Calif...was a four year letterwinner for coach Roc Murray and the Thunder...earned first team all-metro honors from the Sacramento Bee as a senior after hitting .373 with four home runs and 41 RBIs and collecting six wins and four saves on the mound...led his team to the Sac-Joaquin section Division II title while earning first team all-Sierra Foothill League honors...was a 47th round draft pick of the Cincinnati Reds in 2009.
