AS A FRESHMAN (2012)
Appeared in 43 games as a rookie while making 20 starts, with the most (11) coming in center field...hit .293 with two doubles, two triples, 14 runs and two RBIs in 92 at-bats...posted a .359 slugging percentage and a .323 on-base percentage...started the season on a tear, tallying a hit in seven of his first nine games and posted 13 total hits during that stretch...tallied a season-best three hits in three games, including both the third and fourth games of the season, versus Cal State Northridge and Saint Mary's, respectively...tallied a hit in his only at-bat in the Western Athletic Conference Tournament, coming in the first championship game against Fresno State on May 26.

Played four varsity seasons for head coach Vic Alkire at Tracy HS...helped lead the Bulldogs to a 20-7 record in his senior season...hit .386 with a .490 on-base percentage in his senior season with 23 runs, 26 RBIs and four home runs...tallied nine stolen bases on 10 attempts as well...named all-San Joaquin Section in each of his four seasons, all-conference as a sophomore, junior and senior and was a Stockton Record all-area selection in both 2009 and 2010.
