Appeared in 55 games while making 44 starts, all coming in right field...hit .271 with 19 runs, eight doubles and 23 RBIs overall during the season...named to the all-WAC Tournament team after hitting .353 with four runs, two doubles and four RBIs in four tournament games...hit second in the lineup 14 times and seventh 16 times...had 10 hits, four runs, three RBIs, two stolen bases and four doubles in a five-game series against Dartmouth, including a season-best 4-for-4 performance in the finale on March 19.
AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2011)

Hit .260 on the year, good for No. 2 on the team...played in 54 games while making 50 starts, primarily at first base (30 starts) and second base (14 starts)...tallied just nine errors and a .975 fielding percentage while recording 296 putouts...had 52 hits in exactly 200 at-bats...posted a season-high nine-game hit streak including both non-conference and conference games, and tallied an eight game hitting streak, all during conference play...had 10 multi-hit games in 17 contests during his two hit streaks...had 15 total multi-hit games.

A 2009 graduate of St. Bernard’s HS in Eureka, Calif...was a four year letterwinner for his father, Dale Del Grande, and the Crusaders...co-MVP of the Humboldt Del Norte League as a senior...led his team to three straight CIF North Coast Section titles...reached base all five times in the section title game against Tomales High as a senior...was also a standout on the hardwood, leading the Crusaders to the section title as a senior.
