Played for two years at College of San Mateo in San Mateo, Calif for coach Doug Williams...posted a 3-1 mark as a sophomore with a 2.19 ERA in 17 appearances, included three starts...struck out 37 batters in 37 innings pitched while recording one complete game and one save...earned second team all-Coast Golden Gate Conference honors...collected a 2.91 ERA as a freshman in 13 appearances out of the bullpen for the Bulldogs...allowed just two extra base hits in 21.2 innings.
