PRIOR TO SACRAMENTO STATE
Played two years at Diablo Valley JC for coach Mike Nuc...made 16 appearances as a sophomore in 2009 out of the Viking bullpen...posted two saves and struck out 26 batters in 22.1 innings pitched...helped lead the Vikings to the 2009 Big 8 Championship and the 2009 state semifinals...posted a 3.58 ERA and three saves as a freshman in 2008...allowed opponents to hit just .233 against him.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2007 graduate of Acalanes HS in Lafayette, Calif...a four year letterwinner for coach Andy Tarpley and the Dons...was a first team all-Diablo Foothill Athletic League selection as a junior and a senior...posted a 10-1 record as a senior with a 1.55 ERA...tossed four complete games...led the Dons to three DFAL championships and the 2007 CIF North Coast Section title.
