PRIOR TO SACRAMENTO STATE
Played one season (2008) at South Dakota State for head coach Reggie Christiansen, who is in his second season on the Hornet coaching staff...started six games for the Jackrabbits as a junior, posting a 1-2 record and a 5.00 ERA in 27 innings pitched...started his season with 8.1 scoreless innings pitched over two starts...earned academic all-Summit League honors...played for two seasons at American River JC prior to his time at SDSU...went 7-4 with a 3.66 ERA in 78.2 innings in 2007...struck out 74 batters in 78.2 innings...teamed with Hornet left-hander Jose Ramirez at ARC.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2005 graduate of Casa Roble HS in Orangevale, Calif...four year baseball letterwinner...posted a 0.63 ERA as a senior with 85 strikeouts in 68 innings pitched...earned first team all-Capital Athletic League honors as a senior.
