PRIOR TO SACRAMENTO STATE
Played one season at Shasta College in Redding, Calif. for head coach Brad Rupert...posted a 7-6 record with a 4.26 ERA...made 14 starts and threw six complete games...struck out 89 batters in 107.2 innings pitched...was a unanimous first team all-Golden Valley Conference selection...threw a three-hit shutout over Siskiyous on Mar. 5...struck out 10 batters over nine innings...selected in the 35th round of the MLB Draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2008 graduate of Grants Pass HS in Grants Pass, Ore...four year letterwinner in baseball, basketball and football...earned first team all-Southwest Conference honors as a senior...also was named first team all-state as a utility player...threw an eight inning three-hitter with 11 strikeouts against South Eugene while also going 3-for-4 at the plate with a home run and three RBI.
