HIGH SCHOOL
A 2005 graduate of Lancaster HS...played four seasons as a pitcher, first baseman and third baseman for head coach Matt Anderson...as a senior, he threw an 83-pitch no-hitter to clinch the Eagles’ first Golden League championship in five years...had 10 strikeouts and one walk and the game’s only RBI in the 1-0 victory...that same season, helped Lancaster to a 19-11 record, going 9-3 on the mound with a 2.01 ERA...also hit .456 at the plate...was named Golden League MVP and to the all-area team by the Daily News...his sophomore and junior seasons he was named first team all-Golden League...was a three-sport athlete for the Eagles, playing four years of basketball and two years of football...played three years for the ABD Bulldogs under head coach Mike Spiers...teamed with current Hornet teammates Trevor York and Brian Joyce.
