A 2006 graduate of Wheatland HS, was a three-sport athlete for the Pirates...named all- Butte View League, all-section and all-area as a senior...on the mound, he led the Pirates with a 2.93 ERA and 89 strikeouts in 57.1 innings pitched...at the plate, batted .435 leading the team with 30 hits, 20 RBIs, seven doubles and four home runs...also added seven stolen bases with a team-leading .739 slugging percentage...was a Puma All-American as a senior and earned all-league honors as a junior...in 2002, was the starting quarterback on a freshman team that won the league championship...lists his greatest performance as a 17-strikeout effort against Yreka HS...also hit two home runs in that game.
