2006 (REDSHIRT SEASON)
Sat out the season as a redshirt.

PRIOR TO SACRAMENTO STATE
Was a catcher for two seasons at Skyline College in San Bruno, Calif., under head coach Dino Nomicos...as a freshman in 2004, helped the Trojans to a 29-8 record and Coast Conference championship...was also named first team all-conference...as a sophomore in 2005, he hit .396 with 27 doubles to lead the state and five home runs...with 27 doubles set a Skyline single-season record and his 38 career doubles are also a program record...threw out 70 percent of his base runners...was named first team all-conference, first team all-Nor Cal and was also named an All-American.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2003 graduate of Serra HS in San Mateo, Calif...played baseball for four seasons under head coach Pete Jensen...as a junior, received WCAL honorable mention honors...senior year, he hit .430 with 14 doubles and six home runs and was named first team all-WCAL and first team all-county...as the starting catcher, helped lead the Padres to the WCAL championship and a 30-5 record...lists one of his greatest performances as batting 3-for-4 with a grand slam, solo home run and the game-winning double against Arch Bishop Mitty HS...in 2002, played for the California Blaze under head coach Craig Kenny...hit .363 with four doubles and threw out 5-of-8 base runners in the World Wooden Bat Championship, helping the Blaze to a fourth place finish.
