PRIOR TO SACRAMENTO STATE
Played two seasons (2005 & 2006) for Rob Wilson at Sierra JC...played catcher and hit .241 for the Wolverines in 2006, helping Sierra to the Final Four of the state playoffs...had 34 hits, 22 runs, 26 RBIs, four doubles and three home runs.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2004 graduate of Rocklin HS....played four seasons for head coach Roc Murray...named first-team all-Sierra Foothill League as a senior and Offensive and Defensive MVP for the Thunder.

PERSONAL
Born Aug. 9, 1986...parents are Doug and Jill Kirkman...major is communication studies...after cutting his head open and receiving seven staples in a wakeboarding accident, hit five home runs in his next three games during his senior season.
