PRIOR TO SACRAMENTO STATE
Played two seasons (2004-05) at Washington...his sophomore season appeared in seven games hitting .250...as a freshman, he played in four games and hit a home run in his first career at bat....during the summer of 2004, started 41 games for the Humboldt Crabs, hitting .283 with six home runs and 24 RBIs.
HIGH SCHOOL
A 2003 graduate of A.C. Davis HS in Yakima, Wash...he was a two-sport athlete for the Pirates, playing four years of baseball and football...his senior season on the diamond was named first team all-Big 9 and all-state...as a junior, received all-state honorable mention accolades and was named first team all-Big 9 after batting .476 with four home runs and 23 RBIs...on the football field was a two-time all-conference defensive back...was selected all-conference at all-purpose and selected all-state as a defensive back his senior season...was a Seattle Times Top-50 prospect.

Born Feb. 20, 1985...parents are Leland and Janice Jiles...major is criminal justice with a minor in women’s studies...after graduation would like to become a sports agent...younger brother Noah is a wide receiver at Western Washington.
