PRIOR TO SACRAMENTO STATE
Played two seasons for head coach Jody Allen at College of the Sequoias in Visalia, Calif...a right fielder, was named all-Northern California and first-team all-Central Valley Conference in 2006...led the Giants to a 30-15 record and 20-8 finish in league...batting a team-best .371 with 62 hits, 47 RBIs, 44 runs, 14 doubles and 32 walks...led the team with a .476 on-base percentage and was second with a .503 slugging percentage...was second team all-CVC in 2005 after batting .298.
HIGH SCHOOL
A 2004 graduate of Golden West HS in Visalia, Calif...for four seasons played outfield for head coach Tom Buckley...named to the all-area team and first team West Yosemite League as a senior after batting .398 overall and .487 in league, while leading the team to an undefeated 12-0 record and the WYL championship...won the Mr. Clutch award for seven game-winning hits in 12 league games....was second team all-conference his junior year...in a 7-4 win over Central Fresno, went 2-for-4 with three RBIs and two doubles...graduated with a 3.5 gpa and received the Academic Athlete award.
