AS A JUNIOR (2006)
Recovered from injury to return to the mound and pitch 17.1 innings in 13 appearances...used mostly in mid-relief...longest outing of the season came at Hawai’i on April 29, pitching 2.1 scoreless innings with two strikeouts.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2005)

AS A FRESHMAN (2004)
Appeared in 11 games...pitched in 13.2 innings and finished with a 6.59 ERA...struck out 11 while allowing only 11 runs and 17 hits...pitched two hitless innings in a 10-8 win over San Diego State on Jan. 31...of his 11 appearances, he allowed one run or less eight times.
(2003) REDSHIRT SEASON
Appeared in four games as a reliever before sitting out the rest of the season as a redshirt...went 0-0 with two walks, two strikeouts and a 10.80 ERA...allowed one run on two hits while walking one and striking out two in 1.0 inning against Cal State Stanislaus on Feb. 9.
HIGH SCHOOL
A 2002 graduate of Roosevelt HS in Honolulu...competed in four years of baseball and football, and three years of basketball for the Rough Riders...in baseball, he pitched and played first base...named Oahu Interscholastic Association MVP and team MVP after posting an 8-1 record with 82 strikeouts and a 2.34 ERA in 58 innings...also named first team all-OIA, all-state and all-state tournament team...earned first team all-OIA honors as a junior...pitched a complete-game win against Castle HS with 14 strikeouts in the first round of the 2002 playoffs...in his final high school appearance, he threw a no-hitter in the third-place game of the state tournament...in football, he played quarterback for the Rough Riders...named State Player of the Week after completing 29-of-38 passes for 469 yards and four touchdowns against Kaiser HS...finished his senior season with 2,214 yards passing and 24 touchdowns in 10 games...also named team MVP that same season.
