AS A JUNIOR (2006)
Returned from offseason elbow surgery to pitch 13.1 innings in eight appearances on the mound...was used mostly in mid-relief and led the staff with a 2.03 ERA...in his best outing of the year, pitched 4.0 innings allowing just one unearned run against Fresno State on May 20.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2004)
Made 17 appearances and three starts during the season, pitching a total of 25.0 innings...finished with a 0-2 record and 12.96 ERA...recorded a season-high four strikeouts in 5.1 innings against San Francisco on Feb. 4...also had 13 strikeouts during the year...in the fall, Cuckovich played on special teams while also serving as the fifth wide receiver for the Hornet football team...recorded six catches for 40 yards in eight games...caught three balls for 26 yards against Montana on Nov. 8.

AS A FRESHMAN (2003)
A major contributor to the pitching staff in his first season with the Hornets...appeared in 19 games including two starts...went 0-2 with a 6.95 ERA, 33.2 innings pitched, 28 strikeouts and only nine walks...did not allow a run in eight of his appearances as a reliever...earned a no-decision in his first career start on Apr. 27 against Hawai’i-Hilo...registered his first collegiate save after pitching 3.0 innings of relief against Cal State Hayward on Apr. 5...in the fall, he was a redshirt wide receiver for the Hornet football team.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2002 graduate of Christian Brothers HS...played three seasons of baseball, football and basketball...in baseball, he led the Falcons to a 2001 Sierra Valley League championship...named league MVP, Optimist All-Star and The Sacramento Bee’s Pitcher of the Year after recording a 10-0 record with a 1.12 ERA as a senior...named all-SVL, all-city and all-state as a junior and senior...compiled a 24-3 career record...in football, he was an all-SVL selection each year as a quarterback/cornerback...named team MVP as a junior and senior...earned all-city honors as a senior and was named to the Optimist All-Star game...named team Offensive MVP after recording over 1,000 yards passing and 600 yards rushing with 14 touchdowns as a senior...in basketball, he led the Falcons to a section championship in 2001 as a guard/forward...earned all-SVL honors as a junior and senior...named CBHS’s Student-Athlete of the Year in 2002...a member of the honor roll all four years.

Born May 12, 1983...major is criminal justice...son of Mel and Suzanne Cuckovich...older brother, Steve, was also a member of the Sacramento State baseball team from 2000-03.
