PRIOR TO SACRAMENTO STATE
Played at BYU in 2006...he hit .322 in 48 games for the Cougars with 49 hits, 23 RBIs, 17 runs, nine doubles and a .960 fielding percentage at shortstop and third base...finished as the hardest player to strike out in the Mountain West Conference, batting .348 with 24 hits, 13 RBIs, six doubles, a .435 slugging percentage and a .400 on-base percentage against league competition.
HIGH SCHOOL
A 2003 graduate of La Quinta HS in Westminster, Calif...played four years of shortstop for head coach Dave Demarest...earned all-Garden Grove league honors four consecutive seasons...batting .482 as a senior, led the Aztecs to the CIF Championship with a 30-2 record...as a junior had a 1.000 fielding percentage.
