Made 17 appearances out of the Hornet bullpen, posting no record...struck out nine batters in 18.1 innings pitched...recorded a crucial strikeout in the Hornets 5-3 victory over UC Davis on March 13, striking out the lone batter he faced with runners on second and third in the bottom of the eighth...posted nine scoreless appearances.

Was a 2008 graduate of Galt HS in Galt, Calif...a three-year varsity letterwinner for the Warriors...earned first team all-Sierra Valley Conference honors as a senior after leading Galt to its first playoff appearance since 1993...posted a 6-5 record with five saves and a 2.08 ERA...struck out 77 batters in 70.2 innings pitched...threw three complete games and two shutouts during senior campaign...earned honorable mention all-Metro by the Sacramento Bee...hit .453 with two home runs and 32 RBI...slugged .674 with a .535 on base percentage and 16 stolen bases...hit .403 as a junior, earning all-SVC honors...struck out 68 batters and posted a 3.89 ERA.
