AS A JUNIOR (2009)
Led all Hornet pitchers in appearances with 22...posted a 1-1 record with a 4.70 ERA...walked just eight batters in 30.2 innings while striking out 27...collected first career victory at Nevada on May 8, allowing a lone unearned run in three innings of work...struck out three batters in 1.2 innings in the Hornets 9-0 victory over Cornell on March 20...academic All-WAC selection.

PRIOR TO SACRAMENTO STATE
Attended Hartnell JC in Salinas, Calif...was named the Coast-South Conference Reliever of the Year after posting a 4-3 mark with four saves out of the bullpen...made 27 appearances, all in relief...led all relievers in the state with 57.2 innings pitched...was second among relief pitchers in strikeouts with 52...walked just 18 batters with opponents hitting .237 against him...struck out 21 batters in 12 relief appearances as a freshman.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2006 graduate of Salinas HS in Salinas, Calif...four-year letterwinner as a pitcher and outfielder for coach Pat Hunsdorfer and the Cowboys...earned T-Cal Sportsmanship Award as a senior.
