AS A FRESHMAN (2009)
Made 51 appearances, including 49 starts in his freshman campaign...hit .271 with 11 home runs and 38 RBI...his home run total was the most by any Hornet freshman during the Division I era...posted a pair of two home run games on the season...the first came against Menlo College on March 28 in game two of a doubleheader, connecting on a two-run homer and a three-run blast...second came in conference play against Nevada on May 8, as he hit a two run homer followed by a solo shot...hit .311 during conference play,

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2008 graduate of Yuba City HS in Yuba City, Calif...was a four-year letterwinner for the Honkers as a third baseman and catcher...hit .430 with 24 RBI as a senior, leading his squad to a 28-3 mark and Tri-County Conference and Sac-Joaquin Section titles...was named honorable mention all-metro by the Sacramento Bee and first team all-area by the Appeal-Democrat...went 4-for-4 and was named MVP of the 2008 Optimist All-Star game...hit .315 as a junior, leading the Honkers to a 30-1 mark, along with TCC and section titles.
