AS A JUNIOR (2009)
Started 10 games and made six appearances out of the Hornet bullpen...posted a 4-4 record with a 6.93 ERA...posted his first complete game as a Hornet at UC Davis on March 15...allowed one run on six hits, striking out four without surrendering a walk...pitched 8.1 innings against Utah Valley on April 11, allowing one run on 10 hits...struck out career-high eight batters in the contest...threw 62.1 innings, good for third on the team...struck out 45 batters while walking just 29.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2008)
Made 21 appearances including two starts during his first season in the Green and Gold...posted a 1-2 record with a 5.06 ERA...also recorded one save...was one of five pitchers to combine for a shutout in the Hornets’ 4-0 victory over eventual College World Series champion Fresno State on May 17...collected first career victory against New Mexico State in the WAC Tournament, allowing one run and no hits in 3.1 innings pitched...collected a three-inning save in the Hornets’ 13-7 victory over Louisiana Tech on April 5.
PRIOR TO SACRAMENTO STATE
Pitched one year at Cal State Los Angeles for coach Pat Shine...led Cal State L.A. to the Division II Championship Finals in Montgomery, Ala...earned NCAA West Regional All-Tournament honors after throwing a three-hit shutout in game one of the regional final against Mesa State, while striking out nine...made 14 appearances, including six starts...posted a 4-0 record with a 4.46 ERA...struck out 37 batters in 38.1 innings pitched.

A 2006 graduate of Modesto Christian High School in Modesto, Calif...four year letterwinner in baseball for coach Kelly Wheelock...was also a standout wide receiver and defensive back on the football team, leading the Crusaders to the 2005 Southern Athletic League championship...led team in interceptions.
