AS A JUNIOR (2008)
Made 14 appearances out of the Hornet bullpen, throwing 14.2 innings as a junior...posted an 0-1 record with a 7.36 ERA...collected first career save against Hawai’i on March 29...opponents posted just 10 hits and a team-low .200 batting average against the hard-throwing right hander...struck out the side against Hawai’i-Hilo on April 20.
PRIOR TO SACRAMENTO STATE
Attended The Master’s College, an NAIA school, in Santa Clarita, Calif., where he pitched for two seasons for coach Monte Brooks...posted a 3-3 record in 2007...started 10 games while appearing in 14...pitched two complete games and collected one save...posted a 4-5 record in 2006 with an ERA of 3.59...threw a shutout in his final start of the season against Westmont.
HIGH SCHOOL
A 2005 graduate of Forest Lake Christian HS in Auburn, Calif...four time all-Central Valley Christian League selection...was MVP of the league in 2004 and 2005...all-area selection by the Auburn Journal in 2002, 2004 and 2005...had 13 strikeouts in a complete-game victory in the first round of the Sac-Joaquin Section Division V section playoffs in 2005...valedictorian of the senior class.
