Appeared in five contests as a pinch hitter, going 2-for-6 at the plate on the season...recorded hits in each of his first two collegiate at bats.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2005 graduate of San Pedro HS in San Pedro, Calif...led the Pirates to back-to-back Marine League titles in 2004 and 2005...during senior season, batted .411 with three home runs and 30 RBI...was third on the team with 39 hits...team posted 12-3 mark in league...had a game during the season where he pitched a six inning shutout and hit a solo home run, the only run of the game, to win 1-0...earned first team all-Marine League and second team all-area honors...in 2004, led team to perfect 15-0 mark in league...earned second team all-league honors.
