Suffered a season-ending injury in the team's first game of the year at Arizona after being hit by a line drive in the arm...will look to make his return in 2010.

AS A JUNIOR (2008)
Made 14 appearances and 13 starts during his first season in the Green and Gold...posted a 4-6 record with a 5.27 ERA in 70.0 innings pitched...posted a team-high 54 strikeouts...earned WAC Pitcher of the Week honors after throwing six innings of scoreless baseball in the Hornets’ 16-2 victory over Brigham Young in the opening game of the River City Classic...followed that up with a 2-1 victory over San Jose State in his next start where he allowed one run on four hits in 8.2 innings with six strikeouts...recorded a career-high eight k’s against New Mexico State on April 25.

PRIOR TO SACRAMENTO STATE

Played two seasons at American River College in Sacramento...made 14 appearances, including nine starts in 2007...struck out 58 batters in 54.2 innings pitched...was a second team all-Big 7 selection in 2006 for the Beavers...posted a 4-5 record with a 3.12 ERA...struck out 67 batters in 69 innings, while giving up just 60 hits...made 13 appearances, including 12 starts.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2005 graduate of El Camino HS in Sacramento...was a three-time all-Capital Athletic League selection, including first team honors his junior and senior seasons...posted a 1.69 ERA in 2005, striking out 69 batters in 54 innings pitched...allowed just six extra base hits...had a shutout during his senior campaign...prepped with Hornet teammate Tim Wheeler.
